Spokane
June 21st, 2011
We have heard of and wanted to experience for ourselves the largest radio flyer wagon known to man. This is what prompted us to stop in Spokane’s Riverfront park. It was halfway to Missoula so we decided it would be the perfect place to stretch our legs and eat our sack lunch.
Sitting, looking out at the pond, we met a man named Bob. He was a Spokane native who also had a knack for the road. We really enjoyed talking to Bob and he was able to give his perspective of the way Spokane used to be. From the World Fair of 1974 to cruising along riverside sipping on 50 cent root beet floats.
